-or- How we as a fandom have kidnapped Angie Martinelli and raised her as our own
I was thinking about it the other day and I got to thinking about how impressive it is that a character who was only in a few episodes for a few minutes at a time has become one of the most loved characters in the show and is half of the show’s most popular pairing. Just looking at the numbers, it doesn’t seem to make sense. According to an imdb list of mcu characters by minutes of screen time, the breakdown of the screen time of Agent Carter characters within the show is as follows:
Jarvis-109.75 minutes
Sousa-103.75 minutes
Thompson-81 minutes
Dottie-45.75 minutes
Wilkes-42.5 minutes
Angie-16.75 minutes
(The list seems mostly up to date and pretty accurate, but it’s not like I timed it all myself. If someone wants to do that and correct me, then be my guest.)
(Also Peggy is the 4th mcu character when it comes to screen time with a grand total of 351.75 minutes across all the movies/shows/oneshots/etc. Just thought that was cool.)
“Is he a regular?”
“Yeah, but a regular what, I’m not allowed to say that on the clock.”
“I also told my father to stuff secretary school, I belong on Broadway.”
